The Medical Records Coordinator is responsible for creating, retrieving, and updating patient-related information according to company policy to help ensure smooth patient flow in the office.
Requirements & Qualifications
Qualifications
- 1+ years of medical administrative experience preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures preferred
- Experience with an EMR system preferred
- Knowledge of plaintiff, defendant, and third-party requests, and HIPAA requirements for release of PHI, preferred
- Strong computer knowledge, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
