Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating patient appointments
- Verifying insurance and handling referrals
- Maintaining and updating patient records accurately and confidentially
- Supporting front desk operations, answering phone calls, and managing inquiries
- Working closely with clinicians and administrative staff to improve the patient experience
- Helping maintain a welcoming and organized clinic environment
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare or medical office setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiarity with EMR systems and basic computer skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
- Proficiency with office software and EHR systems
