Responsibilities include maintaining the integrity of the electronic medical record, supporting chart audit processes, assisting with external audit preparation, and helping ensure compliance with documentation standards and medical records confidentiality.
Requirements & Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in health information management, public health, or a related field
- At least 2 years of professional experience in health information systems, with at least 2 years related to data quality
- Or at least 7 years of experience in a clinical, operations, or data quality improvement position
- RRA preferred
- Experience in project management, research, and data analysis
- Knowledge of health information systems
- Proficiency with statistical information, spreadsheets, and database systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and personal computers
- Knowledge of MS SQL Server and file conversion
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Highly detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to understand multiple business processes and perspectives
