Medical Records Clerk

CoreCivic is seeking a Medical Records Clerk to support medical operations in an institutional setting. This role is responsible for organizing, maintaining, and retrieving medical records and related documents while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with retention procedures.

Key duties include managing clinic supply inventory, monitoring referral activity, coordinating transfer of medical records, and assisting with routine medical and dental reports.

Requirements & Qualifications

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience in a similar position
  • Additional education or specialized training may substitute for experience
  • Valid driver's license preferred unless required by contract or applicable statute
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Lotus 1-2-3, and other PC applications preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
