Requirements & Qualifications
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
- 1–2 years of medical office or customer service experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare office procedures
- Proficiency with electronic medical records systems and practice management software
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and a positive, friendly demeanor
- Knowledge of medical insurance and billing procedures preferred
