The Patient Services Coordinator I supports patient-centered operations by delivering exceptional customer service, completing accurate patient registration, assisting with appointment scheduling, and handling related front-office duties. The role supports IBJI teams and helps ensure a positive patient experience and efficient daily workflow.
This position is based at the DesPlaines and Morton Grove locations.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service role; medical office experience preferred
- EHR experience preferred, especially Epic
Other Requirements
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule to meet changing practice needs
- Work is performed in a fast-paced office environment with frequent contact with physicians, staff, patients, and the public
- Ability to handle stressful situations and interact with upset or angry individuals when needed
- Physical ability to stand or sit for extended periods, use office equipment and computer keyboard, and perform occasional stooping, bending, reaching, or errands
