The Medical Records Clerk maintains the health center's electronic health records (EHR) in accordance with established procedures and policies. This position also serves as a back-up and works as part of a team with the Patient Registration Clerk.
Reports to the Business Office Manager.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate
- Good written and verbal communication skills and reading comprehension
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required, with excellent written and oral communication skills
- Pleasant, patient-oriented attitude and professional appearance
- One year of previous experience in a clinic or office setting, or completion of an equivalent job training program
- Ability to accurately enter information into an EHR, access information from an EHR, and verify detailed patient information
- Available and willing to work a variable, flexible schedule of 40 hours a week, including Wednesday nights and Saturdays
