Medical Records / Central Supply Coordinator

Pavilion at Piketon Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a highly organized Medical Records / Central Supply Coordinator to support residents, staff, and facility operations in Piketon, Ohio.

This role is responsible for maintaining resident medical records, managing central supply inventory, and helping ensure accurate record-keeping and supply distribution in a long-term care environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and updating residents' medical records in accordance with state and federal regulations
  • Ensuring confidentiality and security of medical records
  • Managing central supply inventory, including ordering, receiving, and distributing supplies
  • Tracking inventory levels and anticipating future supply needs
  • Coordinating with medical and administrative staff to support timely record-keeping and supply management
  • Conducting regular audits of medical records and supply inventory
  • Assisting with reports and documentation as needed
  • Providing training and support to staff on record-keeping and inventory procedures
Requirements & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications and skills include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous medical records or scheduling experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to relate positively and appropriately with residents, families, volunteers, and staff
  • Interest in working with long-term residents and the elderly preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Working knowledge of office equipment such as copiers, scanners, faxes, and phone systems
  • General computer literacy, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Google tools
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Willingness to attend continuing education and mandatory in-service training
