ResCare Community Living, part of the Sevita family, provides services that support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in living more independently. In this role, you will support program operations by compiling, verifying, typing, filing, and maintaining individual records.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintain files and individual records by updating and filing information as it is received
- Initiate records for new individuals served and create a computer index
- Assist with copying and distribution of record information according to policy
- Maintain supplies of forms and prepare packets
- Review clinical documentation prepared by program staff to ensure documentation and timecards match
- Ensure accuracy of all data
Requirements & Qualifications
Qualifications for this position include:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months of general office experience; medical records experience preferred
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
