Dordick Law Corporation, a mid-sized personal injury law firm, is seeking an experienced lien negotiator / medical records specialist to negotiate and reduce medical liens related to personal injury matters.
This role works with medical providers, health insurance carriers, and government entities such as Medicare, Medicaid, and VA. The position is based in the Los Angeles or Beverly Hills office and is not remote or hybrid.
The firm focuses on catastrophic personal injury, negligence, product defects, and road design.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Working knowledge of personal injury lien negotiation
- Experience working with medical bills and records
- Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medi-Cal, Medicaid, and other healthcare provider policies and procedures related to lien negotiation and resolution
- Strong understanding of lien negotiation practices with health insurance providers, private healthcare providers, and hospital/ER/EMS providers
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a personal injury law firm preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work with urgency
- Spanish fluency is a plus, but not required
- This is not an entry-level position
