Performs comprehensive review, verification, and qualitative analysis of medical records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accreditation and organizational standards.
Responsible for maintaining patient registration and ADT statistics, supporting outpatient surgery information, managing transcribed reports, and assisting with electronic and paper record workflows across EHR, RPMS, and Vista Imaging systems.
Supports release of information requests, birth and death certificate registrations, patient record retrieval and dispatch, and ongoing health information management operations in coordination with clinical, administrative, and IT staff.
Participates in quality improvement efforts, staff training, record conversion activities, and routine hospital information support functions.
Minimum qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalency (HSE)
- One (1) year of direct work experience with Healthcare Information Management functions
