Beltone is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to manage front-office patient operations in a hearing healthcare setting. This role supports the patient experience from check-in through follow-up by handling calls, scheduling, insurance verification, invoicing, reporting, and general administrative support.
The position is based in Lawrence, KS and follows a Monday through Friday schedule, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no nights or weekends. The role also includes monthly bonus opportunities and contributes to clinic revenue and customer satisfaction goals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Greeting visitors and answering multi-line phones
- Scheduling appointments and follow-up visits
- Processing insurance eligibility and benefits verifications
- Maintaining patient records and databases in compliance with confidentiality requirements
- Preparing reports, invoices, and other administrative documents
- Supporting clinic operations, including ordering equipment and supplies
- Assisting with additional administrative and patient service tasks as needed
The ideal candidate will have:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of previous medical or general office experience preferred
- 2 years of previous customer service experience preferred
- Medical office experience required
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Effective communication skills in English
- Proficiency with MS Office and general computer skills
- Ability to work in a general office environment and sit for 70%–90% of the workday
