Join Physicians’ Primary Care of Southwest Florida as a Medical Records Clerk on the Administration team in Fort Myers. This full-time, Monday through Friday, day-shift position supports the handling, organization, and distribution of patient medical records across multiple locations.
The role focuses on maintaining accurate and confidential medical documentation, assisting providers and staff with record retrieval, and supporting continuity of care through proper processing of release requests.
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Experience working in a high-volume medical office environment
- Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy
- Excellent and professional customer service skills
- Knowledge of health data systems and medical records methods, including coding, classification, indexing, quality control, and assessment
- Medical records experience preferred, or a combination of medical education and office experience
- Regular and reliable attendance required
