At Suvida Healthcare, team members help support compassionate, culturally responsive primary care for Medicare-eligible Hispanic seniors.

This role works closely with primary care providers and the care team to ensure accurate and efficient medical documentation during patient encounters. The position supports high-quality patient care by maintaining complete, precise records in the electronic health record (EHR) system.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Document patient encounters in real time, including medical histories, physical examinations, diagnostic tests, and treatment plans.
  • Use EHR systems to enter and manage patient data while following compliance and confidentiality standards.
  • Review and organize patient charts to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Communicate between providers and care team members to support timely information sharing and follow-up.
  • Enter ICD-10 and CPT codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services provided during encounters.
  • Serve as a liaison between the coding team and providers to resolve documentation questions.
  • Research historical charts and external data to support morning huddles.
  • Assist with quality metrics, gap closure, and population health optimization.
  • Support evidence-based care by staying current with medical protocols.
  • Maintain strict patient privacy and HIPAA confidentiality.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology preferred.
  • Prior medical scribe experience preferred.
  • Ability to use electronic health record systems efficiently.
  • Strong typing skills and advanced computer proficiency.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Willingness to move between neighborhood centers as needed.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required.
