Patient Services Coordinator

US Fertility

Join US Fertility as a Patient Services Coordinator supporting Shady Grove Fertility in Katy, Texas, with float coverage to the Clear Lake office, which is moving to the Houston Texas Medical Center.

This role supports front-office and patient service operations in a reproductive medicine setting. You will work closely with patients, clinical staff, lab teams, and billing teams to help ensure a smooth and compassionate patient experience.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with rotating weekends and holidays.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Greeting patients and managing the front office
  • Checking patients in for appointments and sanitizing rooms
  • Answering patient calls and routing them appropriately
  • Registering new patients in the laboratory EMR
  • Scheduling patient appointments
  • Sending and verifying consents
  • Taking payments and working closely with the billing team
  • Processing and faxing completed lab reports to referring physicians
  • Entering data into the EMR
  • Serving as a liaison between lab staff and the medical team
  • Helping patients transfer cryopreserved specimens and collect necessary records
  • Assisting with administrative projects and other duties as assigned
Requirements & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will bring strong administrative skills, professionalism, and the ability to work in a patient-facing healthcare environment.

Required and preferred qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of previous experience in an administrative role
  • Medical office experience preferred
  • Knowledge of medical software, terminology, and procedures preferred
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, under pressure, and within deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Good research skills and strong multitasking ability
  • Tech savvy with the ability to use billing systems
  • Discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn
