Healogics is the largest provider of advanced wound care services in the United States, treating more than 300,000 chronic wound patients annually across more than 600 sites. This role supports a dynamic outpatient wound care center by managing front office functions and general administrative duties to help ensure smooth center operations.
The Patient Navigator works closely with center leadership and staff to support patient flow, scheduling, insurance verification, charge entry, chart maintenance, and coordination of ancillary services in a patient care environment.
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of office administration experience, preferably in a medical setting
- Prior medical coding experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to type 60 words per minute
- Basic math skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
