Patient Care Coordinator

Fayetteville Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine / Integrity Rehab Group, a brand partner of Upstream Rehabilitation, is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join the team in Fayetteville, NC.

This role supports daily clinic operations and patient intake processes, helping create a welcoming and efficient front office environment. The coordinator works closely with the Clinic Director to support practice management and clinic growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Greeting patients and visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner
  • Scheduling new referrals received by fax or phone
  • Verifying insurance coverage
  • Collecting patient payments at the time of service
  • Maintaining an organized front office workspace
  • Converting referrals into evaluations
  • Scheduling patient visits
  • Managing schedules, document routing, deposits, and non-clinical documentation
  • Monitoring caseload, discharge candidates, progress notes, insurance reporting, and clinic inventory
  • Completing required training and quarterly compliance training

The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with an expectation of at least 40 hours per week. Occasional evenings, weekends, or additional hours may be required.

Requirements & Qualifications

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and maintain organizational detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work with little to no supervision
  • Efficient time management and presentation skills
  • Comfortable using multiple computer programs and office equipment

Physical Requirements

  • Sedentary work
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use a computer throughout the day
  • Frequent repetitive motions and keyboard use
  • Ability to read computer screens and communicate clearly with associates
  • Ability to occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 20 lbs.
