Requirements & Qualifications
Core responsibilities
- Professionally interact with healthcare providers to acquire medical documentation and troubleshoot customer inquiries
- Develop and maintain knowledge of medical supplies and insurance guidelines
- Identify and resolve customer service-related issues
- Collaborate with the Customer Care team on service initiatives aligned with company goals
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly efficiency targets
- Follow compliance standards, including Medicare guidelines, HIPAA, and ACW
- Provide backup support to the Care Coordinator as needed
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with healthcare providers
- Contribute to a positive, professional work environment
Education and experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret medical supply publications, technical procedures, and training materials
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, database software, and call center telecommunications software
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed
