Document Coordinator

Requirements & Qualifications

Core responsibilities

  • Professionally interact with healthcare providers to acquire medical documentation and troubleshoot customer inquiries
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of medical supplies and insurance guidelines
  • Identify and resolve customer service-related issues
  • Collaborate with the Customer Care team on service initiatives aligned with company goals
  • Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly efficiency targets
  • Follow compliance standards, including Medicare guidelines, HIPAA, and ACW
  • Provide backup support to the Care Coordinator as needed
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with healthcare providers
  • Contribute to a positive, professional work environment

Education and experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Skills

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret medical supply publications, technical procedures, and training materials
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, database software, and call center telecommunications software
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed
