Pathways Health Partners is an Accountable Care Organization focused on value-based care across Medicare REACH ACO, Medicare Advantage MSO, and Commercial MSO programs.
This role leads monitoring and oversight of internal HCC risk coders and outsourced coding teams supporting the ACO. The position also coordinates training, organizes operational processes, and handles basic administrative tasks to support compliant documentation and accurate risk adjustment coding.
Requirements & Qualifications
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Active CRC (Certified Risk Adjustment Coder) or CPC (Certified Professional Coder) preferred
- Other certifications may be considered with additional experience or a combination of education and relevant experience
- 2+ years of documentation/coding experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Managerial experience preferred
- Understanding of medical coding and documentation regulations
- Administrative skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Typing skills
- Documented training in Medicare Risk Adjustment (MRA), HCC coding documentation guidelines, rules, and regulations
- Ability to support adult patients/panels
- Background clearance up to Level 2 may be required
