The Orthopaedic Institute of Henderson is seeking an experienced Medical Biller to support revenue cycle operations for a busy orthopedic practice. This on-site role focuses on accurate claim submission, payment posting, denial management, patient billing support, and timely reimbursement from a range of payers.
The position supports billing for orthopedic procedures, E/M visits, injections, durable medical equipment, and imaging services while working closely with clinical and front office staff to resolve billing and coding issues.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
2+ years of medical billing experience, preferably in orthopedics, surgery, or multi-specialty practices.
Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, and common billing modifiers.
Experience with EHR and practice management systems, preferably Mod Med.
Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross, UnitedHealthcare, and workers' compensation payers.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
Typing speed of 45+ WPM.
Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, insurers, and team members.
CPB, CPC, CMRS, or similar certification preferred.
