This role supports patient account functions for outpatient behavioral health services, including insurance verification, prior authorization, claims submission, payment posting, and accounts receivable follow-up.
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience
- Experience with insurance verification, benefit eligibility, insurance authorization, insurance billing, payment posting, and accounts receivable
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel
- Strong analytical and math skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing procedures and conditions
- Ability to work well under stress and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and professional communication with staff and outside parties
