2. Procedure

The data collected during this self-test is then transmitted to the Notal Vision Data Monitoring Center (DMC) through a phoneline or modem. This transmission occurs in real-time, allowing for immediate analysis of the data. The DMC is responsible for monitoring the incoming data, which is securely posted to a website that both the patient and healthcare provider can access at any time. In the event that the DMC detects significant changes in the test results, they will notify both the patient and the healthcare provider to facilitate timely follow-up examinations. This comprehensive approach ensures that patients receive continuous support and monitoring throughout their treatment.
