2. Procedure

  • Target Focus The patient is instructed to focus on a specific target within the optical device, which helps to stabilize the eye and ensure accurate measurements.
  • Light Introduction A monochromatic blue light is introduced to the eye. This light has alternating wavelengths and varying intensities, which are crucial for eliciting the necessary responses from the macular pigment.
