A computed tomographic angiography (CTA) of the neck is a specialized imaging procedure that utilizes advanced technology to visualize the blood vessels in the neck region. This procedure involves the use of contrast material, which enhances the visibility of the vascular structures during imaging. The process may also include obtaining non-contrast images, which are captured if deemed necessary. After the completion of the CTA, a radiologist reviews and interprets the images to provide diagnostic insights regarding the vascular health of the neck.
