2. Procedure

The procedure for dynamic surface electromyography involves several key steps to ensure accurate measurement of muscle activity:

  • Electrode Placement Surface electrodes are placed bilaterally on the targeted muscles of the lower extremities, which typically include the adductors, rectus femoris, quadriceps, hamstrings, and calf muscles.
