Certified Medical Coder

We are seeking a detail-oriented Certified Medical Coder to join our healthcare team in Kent, OH. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately reviewing, coding, and processing medical records to ensure proper billing and reimbursement.

Primary Duties

• Assign standardized codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services based on medical documentation
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and healthcare regulations
• Review patient records for completeness and accuracy
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation as needed
• Submit claims and follow up on unpaid or denied claims
