We are seeking a detail-oriented Certified Medical Coder to join our healthcare team in Mantua, OH. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately coding medical diagnoses, procedures, and services using established coding systems to ensure proper billing and reimbursement.
You will review medical records and documentation for completeness and accuracy, assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes in compliance with industry standards, and help optimize revenue cycle processes through accurate coding. You will also collaborate with healthcare providers and billing staff to resolve coding discrepancies, maintain current knowledge of coding guidelines and regulatory requirements, and participate in audits and quality assurance activities.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
