Successful completion of the UNC HCS SS Rev Cycle Physician Coder Proficiency Test.
Successful completion of the UNCH Coder Proficiency Test.
AAPC certification or AHIMA CCSP certification.
2 years of physician medical coding experience.
Must maintain professional certification.
Ability to review provider documentation, identify missing information, and clarify records as needed.
Ability to manage high-volume inventory and follow departmental standards.
