Health Partners Management Group, Inc. (HPMG) is a government contracting company with outpatient coder positions supporting the Federal Government.
This is a remote W-2 position. U.S. citizenship is required.
The role involves coding outpatient encounters for primary care, same day surgery/APV, emergency department, observation, and outpatient specialty services. Level II coders may also work with additional outpatient areas such as laboratory, radiology, and dental services.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Active certification in one of the following: CPC, RHIT, RHIA, or CCS-P
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum of 3 years of medical coding and/or auditing experience in two or more medical, surgical, and ancillary specialties within the past 10 years
- 4 years of experience required for Level II
- Alternatively, 2 years of coding or auditing experience in an MTF (military treatment facility)
- At least 1 year of documented specialty experience
- Resume must reflect all relevant experience, including MTF experience if applicable
