BayCare Health System is seeking a Medical Records Coder II to work remotely on a full-time basis. The role is responsible for assigning diagnosis and procedural codes using ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and CPT-4 coding systems, monitoring bill hold reports, and supporting coding workflow and team development.
This position includes a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Remote work is allowed, but the employee must reside in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, or South Carolina.
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree in Health Information Management preferred
- 2 years of medical coding experience required
- CCS certification preferred
- RHIT certification preferred
