This position is eligible for remote work for candidates residing in VA, MD, DC, DE, FL, GA, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, and WV.
The role focuses on inpatient coding accuracy, Diagnosis Related Group assignment, discharge disposition coding, and ensuring coded records meet productivity and quality expectations.
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of experience directly related to facility inpatient coding in ICD-10-CM/PCS
- RHIA, RHIT, or CCS certification
