We are hiring experienced inpatient coders to support a large-scale health system transition and internalization of revenue cycle operations. This role supports an Epic go-live environment and offers strong long-term potential.

Responsibilities include:

Perform inpatient coding for complex acute care cases using ICD-10-CM/PCS
Assign accurate DRGs in compliance with coding guidelines
Review clinical documentation to ensure coding accuracy and completeness
Maintain productivity of approximately 2.0–2.5 charts per hour with about 95% accuracy
Collaborate with CDI and QA teams to ensure documentation integrity
Participate in team meetings and maintain alignment with team schedules

Requirements & Qualifications

CCS or RHIT certification required
4–5+ years of inpatient coding experience, with Coder III level preferred
Strong experience with high-acuity hospital cases
Epic experience strongly preferred
Experience in academic or teaching hospitals highly preferred
Exposure to trauma or complex cases strongly preferred
