Insight Global is seeking a contract Pro-Fee Radiology Coder for one of its largest healthcare clients in the Southeast.
This role focuses on complex pro-fee radiology coding across multiple modalities, including diagnostic angiography, catheter placements, atherectomy, embolization, thrombectomies, biliary interventions, biopsies, venous access, and more.
The facility is a Level 1 trauma center with a strong research focus and highly complex coding needs. Candidates should be comfortable working with advanced radiology procedures, unlisted CPT codes, and difficult coding scenarios.
Requirements & Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in pro-fee interventional radiology coding
- Experience coding for an academic teaching facility
- CPC certification required; CCS may replace this requirement
- Strong understanding of radiology modifiers, including duplicate modifiers and bundling modifiers
- Familiarity with Teaching Physician Guidelines for CMS
- Experience with cutting-edge medical technology and highly complex coding scenarios
- CIRCC certification preferred
