Amazing outpatient surgery organization is seeking a hybrid outpatient medical coder with a focus on surgical coding.
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity within the Revenue Cycle Department. The role supports outpatient coding work for an expanding healthcare organization with locations throughout the Tri-State area.
The position is hybrid and can be based out of an office in Long Island, Manhattan, New Jersey, or Staten Island.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 1+ year of medical coding experience in an outpatient setting
- Surgical coding experience preferred
- CPC certification required
- Ability to use insurance websites proficiently
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Experience working with electronic health records
