Angel Kids Pediatrics is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to support a busy pediatric practice in Jacksonville. This role manages patient billing, insurance claims, payment posting, and collections follow-up while also assisting with front desk operations as needed.
The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service to families, maintain accurate billing records, and help ensure compliance with healthcare billing standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in healthcare administration or a related field preferred
- 1–3 years of medical billing experience, preferably in pediatrics or family practice
- Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT, ICD-10, and insurance processes
- Familiarity with front desk or medical receptionist duties
- Experience using electronic health records (EHR) and billing software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
