Requirements & Qualifications
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in medical coding and billing, preferably in pediatrics or ambulatory care
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding systems
- Experience working with EMR/EHR systems for data entry, coding, and billing
- Ability to interpret complex insurance policies and support medical collections
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills for working with providers, insurance companies, and patients
- Experience resolving complex denials and conducting payer appeals
