The organization provides comprehensive cancer care through integrated cancer and women's centers across the Greater Phoenix area. The role supports accurate charge capture, billing, coding, and insurance verification in a multi-disciplinary oncology environment.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the healthcare reimbursement field
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Knowledge of chemotherapy-related drugs, supplies, and their use in SNF, LTC, and hospice settings as they relate to insurance benefits
- Knowledge of governmental, legal, and regulatory provisions related to collection activities
- Knowledge of CPT, ICD-9, and HCPCS coding
- Knowledge of basic mathematics
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Coding education is a plus
