OrthoConnecticut is seeking a Billing Associate responsible for charge entry. The role focuses on auditing and posting physician office charges accurately and thoroughly, including monthly missing ticket audits.
The position is full-time, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekends.
This is an on-site revenue cycle role supporting orthopedic practice operations.
Requirements & Qualifications
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in private practice required; 3+ years preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPC preferred, but not required
- Strong knowledge of CPT and ICD-9/10 coding
- Organized, accountable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Strong composure and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize effectively
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Athena
