The Charge Capture Representative is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and coordinating charge capture activities to support accurate revenue cycle operations. This role performs charge entry and related functions to ensure outpatient services are accurately documented and entered into the billing system. The position works within established guidelines, policies, and procedures while maintaining a high level of accuracy and productivity.
The schedule is an evening shift, Monday through Friday from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM. This is an onsite position in San Luis Obispo, CA.
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of recent charge review experience
- 2+ years working with revenue cycle operations
- 2+ years of Cerner EMR experience
- 2+ years managing, reviewing, and analyzing charge capture activities
- 2+ years of outpatient charge experience
- 2+ years of revenue cycle management experience
- Comfortable working onsite 5 days a week
- Comfortable with an evening shift schedule
