- High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
- Excellent customer service skills and phone manner
- Previous medical billing experience preferred
- Intermediate data entry skills
- Strong organizational skills

Responsibilities
- Work with patients to determine insurance eligibility
- Enter charges accurately and promptly
- Initiate private pay collections after insurance cancellation, denial, or other issues
- Process and follow up on payer denials, consulting with patients and/or family as needed
- Research and resolve client billing problems or issues
- Perform monthly closings and invoices
