Inpatient Medical Coder

Insight Global is seeking an inpatient medical coder to support accurate and compliant coding operations. The role involves reviewing medical record documentation to determine and validate appropriate inpatient codes, analyzing physician documentation for completeness and accuracy, and providing feedback to support documentation improvement.

The coder will review complex inpatient medical records and accurately assign ICD-10-CM and PCS codes to ensure compliance and proper reimbursement. This position also collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to obtain additional documentation as needed to support services rendered and codes billed. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and proficiency with EHR systems and coding software are important for success in this role.
