The CDM Analyst is responsible for maintaining, updating, and auditing the chargemaster (CDM) to support accurate billing and reimbursement processes within the healthcare facility. This role collaborates with multiple departments to help ensure regulatory compliance and optimize revenue capture.
The position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and is based at Lingle Building, Singing River Pascagoula Hospital. The role may require travel to another facility within the SRHS service area.
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Five or more years of experience in a prior CDM or coding role may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Prior experience in healthcare billing, revenue cycle management, or CDM management is required.
Strong understanding of healthcare billing regulations, coding systems, and reimbursement methodologies.
Preferred certifications:
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
- Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
- Craneware certifications
- Epic Chargemaster certification, or obtained within the next scheduled Epic training block
