The University of Miami/UHealth Department of Central Business Office is seeking a full-time Revenue Cycle Analyst.
The role is responsible for accurately processing patient and financial data to maximize revenue while maintaining compliance with billing guidelines. This position also supports audit and reconciliation activities across accounts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing audit tools to track and monitor audit outcomes
- Leading meetings to discuss data analysis results and corrective actions
- Analyzing non-governmental payer contracts and validating contractual adjustments
- Reviewing and validating billing accounts and communicating findings to staff
- Identifying and resolving special circumstances affecting delayed payment submission
- Reviewing billing information for accuracy and completeness
- Staying current on statutory and regulatory changes affecting job duties
- Escalating issues when appropriate
- Following University and unit-level policies and procedures to safeguard assets
