Amergis Healthcare Staffing is hiring a Remote Coding Manager to oversee coders assigned to one or more medical centers. This role serves as a liaison to facility HIM staff to resolve coding-related issues, support new customer onboarding, and maintain coding quality across assigned sites.
The position includes managing coder performance, coordinating with client teams, training and orienting new coders, performing routine audits, developing site-specific procedures, and helping identify and resolve coding risks and client concerns. The manager also supports reporting, interview coordination, and ongoing communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Formal HIM education with national certification such as RHIA or RHIT, and/or CCS or CPC coding certification
- Minimum of 5 years of inpatient and outpatient hospital experience or professional fee experience
- Minimum of 3 years of inpatient and outpatient hospital auditing experience
- Previous management experience
- Strong background in auditing, training, coding, and reimbursement preferred
