As a Medical Records Scheduler, you will coordinate and manage participant appointments to keep schedules accurate, communications clear, and processes running smoothly. This role supports a calm, organized, and team-focused environment where precision, consistency, and reliability are valued.
You will help ensure appointments, referrals, authorizations, and follow-up activities are handled accurately while communicating professionally with participants, caregivers, providers, and internal staff.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience working with the frail or elderly population is a plus, but not required
Skills and Qualifications
- Highly detail-oriented, precise, and consistent
- Patient and methodical
- Comfortable following established procedures
- Team-oriented and collaborative
- Strong communication and reliability
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining high accuracy
Additional Requirements
- CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain after hire
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Successful completion of background check, physical, drug screening, and TB screening
- Able to move intermittently throughout the workday
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, or move up to 25 pounds
- Able to assist with participant evacuation when needed
