This role serves as the first point of contact for clients and supports the clinical team, practice manager, and group practice owner with clerical and general office duties. The position requires care, accuracy, strict confidentiality, and HIPAA compliance.
The role is in-office, part-time, and W-2. It includes client scheduling, administrative support, insurance benefit communication, document handling, payment collection, and general office coordination.

- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

- Strong time management and organization skills
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, especially Google Sheets, electronic medical/health records, and virtual platforms
- Ability to learn, interpret, and explain insurance benefits and out-of-pocket costs clearly
- Sound judgment and problem-solving ability
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information while maintaining HIPAA standards
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in customer service or another consumer-facing field
- High school diploma or GED
Physical requirements
- Mostly sedentary work with regular movement throughout the office, including stairs
- Occasional lifting and carrying of 25-50 pounds
Compensation and schedule
- $20.00 per hour
- Expected annual compensation package of $22,250-$28,280 based on experience and hours worked
- Part-time schedule, 20-25 hours per week
- General office hours Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- August start with afternoons generally 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
