Responsible for accurate and timely assignment and review of professional coding related to ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes for a multi-specialty group.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency
Qualifications
- Certified Professional Coding (CPC) designation or equivalent certification required
- Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Knowledge of payor guidelines
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Current and valid driver's license
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the public
Physical Requirements
- May require standing, sitting, and/or walking for extended periods
- May require performing repetitive tasks
- May require lifting up to 25 pounds
