Medicare Risk Adjustment Specialist

Search for a strong Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant to transition into a Medicare Risk Adjustment Specialist role at a rapidly growing company.

The position focuses on reviewing medical records and claims information to identify appropriate coding based on CMS-HCC and HHS-HCC models, abstracting risk-adjusted diagnosis codes from provider documentation, and supporting provider queries when documentation is needed for risk conditions.

The role also includes helping develop and share guidelines and best practices with internal risk adjustment coders and assisting with special projects within the Risk Adjustment Department.

The work environment involves frequent computer, keyboard, and telephone use, along with routine office equipment and physical activity such as standing, lifting, reaching, and repetitive motions.
