At Alteva RCM, we help healthcare providers succeed through expert revenue cycle management, strategic insight, and innovative solutions. We are looking for a detail-oriented billing professional to join our billing department and contribute to a collaborative team focused on excellence.
The role involves reviewing and processing patient encounters, supporting claims lifecycle operations, working closely with coders and front office staff, and helping resolve incomplete or missing information that could delay billing. You will also assist with surgical billing, documentation clarification, internal billing audits, and process improvement efforts while working in EMR systems.
Proficiency in CPT and ICD-10 coding
3-5 years of experience in a billing or related role
Strong knowledge of CMS, LCD, and NDC billing requirements
Experience with CMS-1500 and UB-04 billing formats
Ability to independently identify and resolve billing and coding issues
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational skills
Experience with commercial insurance payers
Prior surgical billing experience required
Familiarity with Epic EMR preferred
