Electromyography (EMG) procedures are used to test the electrical activity or muscle response to detect neuromuscular abnormalities. You can use the CPT codes for EMG below to report these procedures. We included CPT codes with Electromyography as a primary procedure but also included codes with EMG as a secondary procedure.
